What We Can Do

Alex is a film editor with experience in narrative shorts, music videos, and commercial work. She has experience at NBCU, IFC Films, and for independent production companies. She is proficient in Adobe Premiere, Avid Media Composer, Final Cut Pro X, and ProTools. She is a graduate of Northeastern University, with a BA focused in Media Production and Screen Studies. She is particularly passionate about genre films, specifically horror, and cites Steven Soderbergh as inspiration.

Alison is experienced in both production and post-production with past titles at SNL, Columbia Records, Scholastic and most recently, Netflix. She is skilled in Cinematography, Color, and Directing, as well as softwares such as Adobe Premiere, DaVinci Resolve, Avid, and Photoshop. Her thesis short film at NYU 'Scar' has won awards such as "Best Home Grown Short" at Garden State Film Festival and "Best Actress in a Short Film' and "Best Student Short Film" at Soho International Film Festival. Alison is inspired by '80s coming of age films and art history. She hopes to continue exploring all aspects of filmmaking and to work more specifically as a colorist.
